In the great wildfire in the Jerusalem mountains, about 11,000 dunams of forest were burned. It is considered the most extensive in comparison to the fires that preceded it. I stopped at heart of the burnt forest and the intensity of the encounter was great. Vast areas were completely burnt.
On the outskirts of the settlements that bordered the burned forests, the buildings were severely damaged.
