The environmental crisis, resulted from the violation of the ecological balance due to over-exploitation of natural resources, calls for a change of mindset in order to prevent it from deteriorating. This can be achieved only through a sensible and balanced use of natural resources.

The apparent abundance of nature is part of a misguided approach of pre-industrial period. Today, rapid development is a catalyst for the creation of environmental problems such as greenhouse effect, distinction of species, depletion of natural resources, pollution and deterioration of the environment.

The work is a simulated silhouette of a city, emerging out of green and fertile land. Taking materials from nature for the use of construction and consumption has created an irreversible void. The installation emphasizes the decay of nature as a result of man-made actions and confronts us with the remaining absence.
