The Missing Whole is a large-scale installation composed of five collages on red jute surfaces, depicting natural, agricultural, and urban landscapes. From these grounds, elemental forms: a tree, a person, a house have been deliberately removed. Their absence leaves behind charged voids, spaces of instability that echo the fragility of our shared environment.

When a child draws a house, the first gesture is always the horizon - the ground and the sky. From that primordial wholeness, everything emerges: the cultivated field, the expanding city, the industrial terrain, and, within them, the vulnerable landscape of humanity.

Yet in the constant negotiation between nature, the built environment, and human presence, something essential is always missing. A fracture runs through the fabric of our surroundings, shaping the very landscapes we inhabit.

We are a single living tissue, longing for balance, for a return to wholeness. But each day we choose comfort and forgetfulness. To mend what is absent requires effort; instead, we surrender to immediacy, to denial, to the ease of what is incomplete.
