The installation corresponds with the concept of Anthropocene and deals with the significance influence of man on the earth, since the industrial revolution, and its dramatic consequences on the ecosystems.

The installation depicts an imaginary, burnt and chaotic forest that evolves between the enchanted and the disastrous. The ‘trunks’ move with the wind, changing shape. Some of them stand, others lying on the ground and some of them are ‘hanging’ in the air, disrupting world orders.

The installation is made of industrial flexible air conditioning pipes painted black and simulating tree trunks. The artist's choice of air conditioning pipes is not accidental and hints at the central role of forests in supplying oxygen and balancing carbon emissions on Earth.

The driving factor for the installation were the large wildfires in the Carmel and Jerusalem forests in recent decades, which consumed thousands of Dunams of forest and left the artist with a feeling of being trapped, silent and powerless.

The artist wishes to emphasize the destructive effect of man on the ecosystem created by the community of trees. Thanks to the recognition of our impact on the environment and understanding that all of us, animals and plants, maintain an unceasing and necessary bonding, to recognize that we must change our mindset and priorities in a complex and conflicted world.
